Hood Advice
Help me decide what to do for a hood please. Right now I need to fix the 4" cowl I have. It was bondoed on poorly and its all cracked now, so no matter what, I need to do something. The guy I got the car from cut a hole in the original fiberglass hood and just stuck the cowl on it. Should I just repair the hood, done the right way this time, and cut off some the cowl, down to like 1.5" or so tall or use my other good iroc hood just as it is with new paint. If I were to use the iroc hood, maybe do something like heritage stripes also. Its silver if it matters.

Re: Hood Advice
I think this is a personal preference call that you have to make. If you want to use the cowl hood, no doubt you should tear it down to a hood with a hole in it and a cowl and fix it right. Remove all bondo and see if you are left with a reasonable task of repairing it.
