Re: T-Bar Replacement
Replacing the T- bar is the easy part, if your already planning on replacing your seals. Trying to save the old seals during replacement would be a challenge.

Re: T-Bar Replacement
Remove the three bolts from the outer edges, then remove the two (I think it's just two IIRC) hidden ones on each side under the weatherstripping.
Pull up GENTLY on the bar. It is glued on at the factory at both ends, but not with anything super-strong. Take your time when pulling on it. It is thin metal and WILL bend if you pull too hard. It will release if you keep light constant pressure on it.
Be sure you have removed ALL of the screws or you will demolish it.

don't mean to sound stupid, but just to make sure ya'll are talking about the same thing as i'm thinking, can someone post a picture of the piece that we are talking about... going by the explanation i'm assuming it is that really thin piece of sheet metal that goes between the t-tops to hold the glass down on the insides... i hope i'm right anyway... LOL thanks guys

oops, i didn't hurt the car, but this bar is pretty beat up in other words, if you don't have a replacement on hand, be very very gentle
