How do I remove TA hood vents??
I want to take the upper? hood vents off my 91TA to paint them, but I don't know how to get them off and don't want to risk breaking them. Anyone know how to get them off???

It is for the more square ones in the front of the hood, but I couldn't feel or find any for the long narrow vents near the windshield. Maybe I just need to look harder, but it feels like they clip in somehow...just want to avoid breaking those clips off.

IIRC there are 2 clips, I used a flat head to get these out but this will chip your paint on the hood.
I had a thread asking this same question, it was called "Trans Am Hood Louvers", try a search for that, because bobby_80s explained it better then I just did.
