91-92 Firebird Ground Effects Question
I recently came across some misc. 91-92 Ground Effect pieces. Any idea on price for decent used parts?
Door extension ea.
rocker extension ea.
Rear qtr ea.
Rear bumper cover
Front bumper cover
Front extensions ea.
I've seen prices all over the map. Any ideas on a reasonable prices for each piece would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Lonnie

Here's some prices that are about average in the junkyards in my area. Your's may differ.
door pieces---$20-$35 each
rocker pieces-$25-$50 each
rear 1/4 pieces-$5-$20 each
rear bumper cover--$50-$100 depending on condition
front bumper cover--$150+
front fender extensions....$ to $ ....extremely expensive and very hard to find in usable condition. If you can get these pieces in decent usable condition for less than $100 each you're doing good. Almost everybody that has a 91-92 is looking for these.

Re: 91-92 Firebird Ground Effects Question
Thanks for the info....
I bought a used set of 91 TA ground effects a while back but never did anything with them. Now I'm trying to decide if I should keep the parts.
I really would like to get a 90 or older set as I've always wanted one of these years, but hate to modify an otherwise pristine 91 Formula.
I have the entire set of 6 side pieces, with only 1 small gouge/scrape in the drivers door piece... easy fix. All others are nice.
Rear bumper is good, but has 1 small hole poked in the rear corner... no tears.
The front bumper is distorted from sitting, but solid, along with bumper & support w/ fogs & signals.
I unfortunately have only 1 front side skirt.
I'm just trying to determine if I should hang onto them or free up some space in the garage. Thanks again for the feedback.

Re: 91-92 Firebird Ground Effects Question
I guess that is entirely up to you Lonnie,if you don't want to mod. the formula, and would like a sim. 91 with the gfx.,then buy another car to mod. Since you have all the parts except for one front fender piece, you are pretty set, because any 82-92 bird will accept those parts. If you just want room in the garage, get rid of them.
