What do you all think of my bird ^^
Didn't do a whole lot of work yet, just spiffin it up a bit. Got it painted cause the hood and roof was full of cancer, lots of scratches, imperfections and other problems. Had the exhaust redone but you can't see it all too well in the pics, windshield replaced, and interior cleaned up a bit.
Tell me what you think so far ^^ Gettin the rims refinished soon, then slappin some slick new tires on it

Oh and in the pic where it shows the front of the car, on the passenger side you can see the headlight doesn't sit flush with the rest of the body. The front isn't drooping at all (or so far as I can tell) so I assume it's the headlight assembly itself. Any ideas? Not really an eyesore but I notice anything like that about my car >.> haha

Very nice looking bird. Once you get the wheels refinished and the new tires, its going to look 100x better. Keep it up the good work.

Looking good! I like that color. The rims being done and some new tires will really set it off!

Just gettin her back to damn near mint condition stock before I start lookin into upgrades and what not ^^
anyone have info on that headlight? I'm hoping it's just a mucked up assembly so they dont have to take my nose off and adjust/re-align it =/ I tried turning them down manually and stuff but nothin works, must be somethin internal from all my unexperienced self can tell hah :P

Yeah can't get too far ahead of yourself or you feel way too far behind! hah or somethin, I'm just glad I'm ridin slick now. Sounds better, looks way way better, more comfy and clean to ride in.
You should have seen all the rust on it and cancer bubbles, was rediculous O_o the guy said when he was strippin it the paint was just comin off in sheets (someone f'ed up) lol but its all fixed up now. Gonna work on gettin some of the decal stickers that's missin on it too in the near future
Went to my dads to pick up one of his sets of rims so i can use em while mine get re-finished. figured since i was borrowin them i would slick them up a bit cause i was bored anyways. ALLLMOST looks like what its going to in the future :P

Re: What do you all think of my bird ^^
good job
hope i am able to do anything even remotely close to mine as you are to yours
i have no body work skills or knowledge, other than i can align panels and take door guts apart and put them back together in which i do all the time, and all that good stuff,
i am a grease monkey, so,.,
i have no idea how ppl figure out how to smooth panels and fix rust and know what primer and paint can go together and all that, its too crazy of a rocket science to me
congrats,

Re: What do you all think of my bird ^^
Well as long as its not rusted completely through just take it to bare metal, coat it with primer (you can ask someone at autozone) then get your spray kit and go. I had maaco do mine but this is my every day car. Once this one is done I'm gettin myself a formula, TA or even a camaro (i really like irocs) and I'm going to do everything myself =) I'm not too keen on engine stuff but interior and paint is in the bag. Suspention isn't too bad if you have the tools and a decent way to get it in the air, but then again I can learn as I go, especially if it's a project car ^^
