Bent frame?

Just curious to peoples input on whether this car needs put on a frame machine or not. I'm n o body man, so I have no idea if theres gonna be any more adjustment on this, but you can see how the hood is WAY off. I know the car was wrecked, cause it was red and had a blue bar(part where fogs mount). Any input on a good way to get this lined up better?

btw, this way the car before yesterday, before I mounted the bumper cover.

Re: Bent frame?

Looks like it just needs to be lined up properly. How far down will it go? Check the hood adjusters in the back near the hinges as well.

Re: Bent frame?

Well, the fenders wont go down any farther, I have the rubber stops on the radiator support turned down all the way, the front stops are not even in there. However for the hood to latch, the latch assembly had to go all the way up.. so maybe that panel can be moved up some?

Re: Bent frame?

1) Most aftermarket hoods fit like poo

2) Adjust you front "tray" panel up and move the middle of the front bumper up
Stock bumpers like to sag down in the middle

Espcially camaros and banshee birds

Re: Bent frame?

Yeah I know how these hoods fit, I got this hood for my old car, and it was a bitch to align. On this new car however, it doesnt seem like theres enough adjustment. I'll check that tray, I seem to be running out of places to move. Thanks for the suggestion.
