No it will not, just 85 and up Irocs, Z28s, an Rs's. You could always mask your front off and paint it semi gloss black and have silver camaro stickers put on.

Damn, not what I wanted to hear, but thanks for the help anyways! I am just so sick of the plain *** front end my car has. Don't get me wrong, shes beautiful, but I wanted to spice it up a bit. Got any pics of the method you described?

Personally, I think that's a nice looking old car you got there. But if you want to spruce up the front a little, maybe you could get some sort of plate (something simple like a black one with a bowtie or Camaro written on it) and fit some square foglights in the grille openings.

That plate idea is a great idea. I think I will go with that. Thanks a lot! BTW, do you know of any places that would sell some nice plates like the ones you describe? I am going to go look, but didn't know if you knew of any deals.

That Camaro plate was a stock gm part put on 82-84 Camaros,Berlinettas and Z28s.I put one on my 82 Sport coupe and it makes the car look so much better IMO.I just grabbed one yesterday off a 1984 z28.Let me know if you are interested in it

That is exactly what I want, I am definetly interested in it. But I gotta wait till Friday, hehe, payday! But I'll keep in touch. Thanks a lot!
BTW, do they sell those plates new anywhere? I wouldn't mind a new one TBH. But I am good at fixing things and painting them, so not a problem!

I am not sure but would have to doubt that these would be available as new anywhere.I dont see these plates too often and like I said before they were only available for 82-84 camaros. On the back it has the gm part #14047967 and the date may 1984.

You don't have to go out and find some original GM parts. I did a quick search for ya, and came up with paddockparts.com. I attached two examples of some they have for $7. I used to have an 82 Z-28 and it came with the Heartbeat plate on it(which is cool because that was GM's slogan back in the day), but I also posted a bowtie one I think is pretty cool. For foglights, they have some $20 Pilot ones at Wal-Mart that look almost like factory IROC ones. I have some on my 91 RS which you can see here: Yahoo! Photos - jimmyj1423's Photos - 000_0333
Just some ideas for ya, hope it helps.

Alright, I have decided I would like to get that plate from you my82roc. What price are you asking for it? I decided I would use my own two hands and fix up the older plate. It will be more satisfying that way.
jimmyj2000 -- Thank you for finding those for me, but I already knew about those plates. The reason I like the plate my82roc has better than those is because it looks like the grill insert piece I mentioned first in the thread. But don't get me wrong, your help is appreciated!

The grill with the red bowtie will fit all 85-92 Irocs and z28s.It will also fit 88-92 RS.It is exactly the same size as the CAMARO fog light grill
