common water leak areas???

hey guys i just finished my garage and so my car never has to be outside again yaay!! so i decide that since gas is still high and the season is winding down i would pull the car in and really figure out some problems ive been having. ever since i have owned my car i have always had the pass side floor infornt of the seat get wet during long heavey rainstorms. so i took out the seat and pulled up the carpet well the padding is soaked but as far is i can tell the floor boards are like new!!!! but the firewall in the corner where the harness for the ecm comes through is rusted at a seam so there is a small hole the rusted is not through though. i think that there is a leak above that that coused that sealed compound to fail and that is why the whole is there anyone have expierce with this??? ps it is not my heater core....thanks

Some of these cars are as leaky as a fence. Since you have your interior out, you should be able to tell quite easy where it leaks. Stay inside and watch everything while someone stands outside the car and sprays it good with the hose. Spray the roof, wheelwells, floor ect.

Another method that works is soap up the car real good on the outside. Use a blow gun and run the air line in the hatch and have someone watch for bubbles on the outside while you go over the inside with compressed air.
