Hinge needs repaired/replaced
Hey guys i thought if i replaced my drivers side door pin that it would fix it from scraping the paint off my inner door, but it turns out to be the doors top hinge. MAACO wants at LEAST $150 to "repair" it and GM wants $150 for a new one (or so my dad says) Any ideas on what to do? I gota get my door on ASAP too.

if its not scraping really bad u can left up on the door to bend the hinge up some. Open the door just enuff so u can grap the bottom and lift up on it. Only other way are the ways already said.

its the scrapeing that bad, but when i open the door all the way about half way open it makes a "dunk" sound and the door seems to move up or down by 1/2 inch. i took the door off and the hinge moves up and dwon about 1/2 inch. if i could just fill the gap with something i dont think it will move that 1/2 inch anymore.
