Crash pad

Hey, just have another question on a 4th gen dash. When you cut the crash pad (the top piece that goes to the windshield) what should you use to cut it? I haven't really seen it so I don't know how thick it is, but I was thinking maybe a razorblade? I think a saw would hack it all up.

So, yeah...gimme some ideas.

I would think a box cutter would give you a bit more controll then just a razorblad. I havn't actually seen one either though.
