C&C T=top headliner

So what do people with the C&C t-tops do for a replacement headliner? Revamp the stock one? Make your own? Ideas would be welcome...

Thanks,

You can get a hard top headliner & trim it to fit.thats what i did with my C&C t-top dilemma.

Like a cardboard one or ABS? Then cover it yourself?

The material is coming away from the headliner, so I will have to just take it all down coming up and evaluate...

Thanks,

Thanks,

If your board's good, you should just be able to recover it. And, if the headliner's not sagging too badly, you might be able to just glue up the part that's coming apart.

Unfortunately, a lot of the material is drooping...I will have to pull it down coming up to verify, but it takes a backseat to finishing the engine install, the front suspension upgrade, the C4 brake upgrade, and the rear suspension upgrade along with the new fuel pump

I have the parts, just need to make more time...

I've got the same arabian nights thing going on in my Maro. Above the material there is this nasty yellowish orange stuff that flakes off. Is that the board? And if it's not, can that stuff be replaced?

Thats probably the fiber type board that the velour is glued to.It comes apart fairly easy if exposed/touched/bent/etc.....
