Are these C&C T-tops?

The T-top dimensions are different from published specs I have seen...but the weatherstripping and the molding looks like C&C...

The molding in the middle is damaged...apparently someone tried to break into the car (previous owner)...

TIA for the help...

There is no C&C mark on the glass (I read that there should be)...and the t-top dimensions are a bit smaller than here:

http://www.sunroofdoctor.com

This making me scratch my head a bit...

The weatherstripping appears to be the C&C type...including the red spaghetti string felt deal...

Hmmm...

The plastic trim/weather stripping look just like mine.Only diff is your center bar.glass secures in the groove there. On my 84Z the glass lifts like a vent window.there is also a C&C logo on the outside corner of the glass..All the C&C t-tops that ive seen are slightly shorter than G.M t-tops.The windshield header is wider(about 4in versus G.Ms about 2in).I believe this is because C&C cars start off as hardtops. When the roof is trim the header is left wider so the visors wont have to be replaced(too big).G.M t-top visors are half as wide as C&C/hardtop versions. If theyre locking.C&C t-tops use a diff key for the locks,G.Ms use the door key i believe....

Sound like your setup is a bit cooler...but tougher to find replacement t-tops for...

The next challenge is the headliner...

Those pics indicate that the tops are C&C. If you want, you can remove the plastic bits from the car where the pins go into and put in little rubber grommets to make the pin more cushioned. Makes for a quieter ride.

You mean remove the trim completely? or just remove it and put the grommets behind? I like that idea...

ive had an 83 z28 C&C car and a factory 84 z28 t tops car and i have to say that the factory stuff is better quality, but the 84 leaked and the 83 didnt, but i took care of the 84 leaks by sealing all around between the stripping and the painted metal roof of the car, used clear sealant, the C&C latching mechanism was just big a bulky and clunky and had problems

Did that too with my pastic trim. There is a knub behind the hole(unless it broke off already)that protudes into the body.I slipped a piece of rubber hose about 1/2in long onto the knub.an other thing i did when i replaced the velour material was to cut the velour extra long.So you have velour behind the plastic piece.Something C&C didnt do.There was just the plastic against the metal. Also cut it extra long around the edges & push it deep into the channel where the weather srtip is.This way you wont need the rubbery thing that goes from one side of the plastic trim to the other.gave me a quieter ride, big difference.finding parts for it is something of a challenge, yes but i like my set-up.The latches even have a C&C logo on them.Plus a bronze/mirrored tint on the glass. As for leaks never really had any problems(not major anyway).Only drips working there way in between the ends(where tops seperate).....

I ground the little bumps off behind the plastic trim plate and installed the rubber grommets in the holes. You wont need the little bumps on the backside of the trim plates that way. Works much quieter also. The trim plates are very prone to crack.
