i need taillight help
ever since i put the '92 GTA taillights on, they never did line up. the right tail is about a 1/4-1/2" lower than the left tail. no matter what i do, they won't line up. i got longer studs, i got shorter studs, always with no success. how can i make them line up?
and the left tail has "PON" on it, the right tail has "TIAC" on it. here's the other problem: even if they did line up, the lettering on both tails wouldn't line up. the "TIAC" on the right tail is etched lower than the "PON" on the left tail. could that be a factory mistake, or is it possible they both came from different GTAs?
help me out here folks.

Anything is possible-they coould've came from 2 different cars--but these lights were massed produced so I can't see how that would affect anything--they should all be the same.
Did you try leaving a very small gap between the lights? try moving one a tad higher then the other?
Pretty weird problem.
I put the same lights on my 86 T/A w/no alignment problems.

yeah right, took me forever to find them, and i practically stole them for $100 for the set. guess i'll just have to live with them being crooked until i can drill new holes for the studs.
