Factory location of IROC-Z door decals???

Does anyone know or know of a site that has documentation on the exact position of the IROC-Z door decals?

I see many IROCs on the web and it seems that everyone has them in a different location on the door. Just wanted to know where they were located on the door from the factory. Plus was this location consistant through 85-90?

Thanks

Joe

Nope, I think the older ones had them on the back of the door and the newer ones had them on the front of the door (or the other way around)

Re: Factory location of IROC-Z door decals???

So here we go again with my retarded questions and bringing life back to dead threads...

I just got the car painted and I'm going to be putting new decals on... can someone give me measurements for the decals on the front of the door...

How many inches from the bottom of the door up to the bottom of the decal

How many inches from the front of the door back to the end or the "z" of the decal on the passenger side and then of course it would be the same inches to the "i" on the driver side

Thanks for the help!

Re: Factory location of IROC-Z door decals???

The IROC-Z decals were on a pre-mask. The pre-mask was lined up with the door edges which automatically located the decal itself.

I measured the location of my door decals and came up with these measurements. It should be the same for the driver's side door. (Geez......Someday, I really need to remove all that dust and excess wax.....)

I hope this helps.

Re: Factory location of IROC-Z door decals???

you should make templates for that and see the rights. now that more people are re painting and decaling this car. I got the measurements for the GTA emblems from someone on the GTA source page but I had to make a template for them and compinsate for the door moulding delete. does anyone have the other location IROC door decal measurements? just for reference
