New shoes on the Z28

Got BF Goodrich G Force Comp 2 A/S Plus tires on the z28 today.

Talk about how quiet they are compared to the 8 year old nearly same tires I had.

A few pics.

Nice car! Good to know because I just got a set of those for mine but haven’t driven on them yet. Thanks for a REAL review

Re: New shoes on the Z28

I saw this thread last night and that top picture made my heart start beating fast. Two guys on each side of the car with floor jacks jacking the rear end up. Man I hope those were long floor jacks and they positioned the pad under the torque boxes and not on the pinch welds or somewhere else they shouldn't be.

I made sure plus the manager is an old school car guy and he knew of the pinch welds.

Re: New shoes on the Z28

Besides the knuckleheads that put the tires on and the infamous pinch welds…how are they? Traction and cruising quality? I’m excited to try mine. They had good reviews

Just took it on a 10 mile cruise. Really enjoy these tires.
