Painting plastic under hood

Whats everyone using/used? Is Fusion still available? Will it work well with under hood heat or should i go with engine paint?
Not painting show worthy so to speak, but i don't want it to start peeling/cracking months down the road either.
Just looking to rattle can it though. Any and all comments/advice appreciated.

Re: Painting plastic under hood

My process through the years for ANY plastic has been to wash/degrese with something like Purple Power or Super Clean. Then scotchbrite/wash again. After dry spray a light coat of "Bulldog" adhesion promoter, then paint with any regular spray paint you want. Good to go!

Thanks, I have adhesion promoter I was thinking of using, so I'll as that, but all the chassis paint I find is black and the part is already black.

VHT plastic paint doesn't require adhesion promoter.

Yeah, I read on their site about that after I posted here. Good thing I haven't painted yet.
Apparently, no primer needed either.
