Think Spring !!!
Winter has lingered far to long here in south central Wisconsin and the upper Midwest in general. We had several small snow falls earlier this past week. As such my '88 Trans Am is still in hibernation until sometime in May. Suppose to be in the 70's tomorrow so finally some warm weather, but back don't into the mid-40's to mid-50's next week. Uggg. Glad to see Third Gens out in other parts of the country. Here are a few photos I took last fall (that I hadn't posted) just before I put my TA into storage. Feel free to add your new spring photos onto this thread if you wish!

Yeah, that inch of snow Monday was...unexpected.
I have had the car out once or twice. May have it out tomorrow afternoon if the weather holds.

Good for you Dave. Where in Michigan are you located? A year or so ago for work I was travelling to Grand Rapids. I would take the Lake Express from Milwaukee to Muskegon. Great ride and beautiful part of Michigan.

Very excited for my first spring with this car running. Put 40 miles of 70 degree t-tops off weather on it today, no issues and no leaks! Sorry for poor photo quality and dirty car. I washed it yesterday but the pollen is brutal!

Re: Think Spring !!!
This year I've made a promise to the car, that it's going to get out more.
So far this Spring went to a little car meet, and also did a cruise that they had in town. The cruise was fun, everyone just driving around and enjoy all the cars. Looking forward to the next one.

Re: Think Spring !!!
Already cycled through driving all three cars, twice so far this spring. Hardest part is just finding the motivation to open garages, remove covers, pulling car out, parking daily back in the garage, and then repeating the process when putting the car back into storage.

Re: Think Spring !!!
Great work guys! I've had mine out 3 times thus far, and forgotten to take a photo every time. Maybe this weekend.
Glad to see this Drew. Haven't seen you around much, and I know you were getting a little discouraged with the one you were doing rust repairs on. Good to see you are getting the other cars out and enjoying them.
I have to go through the same chinese fire drill here when I want to take the T/A out.

Was hoping to get mine out this weekend but it's been raining off and on. I did end up waxing it today though!

The weather here has sucked ballz. It feels like cold, rainy March instead of almost May. Haven't moved any of the cars since last Fall.

Re: Think Spring !!!
I've done several shake down drives and burned through all the old gas and a half tank of fresh gas. It's been a little difficult finding breaks in the weather to do it though. Tires are starting to grip good...

May 2. Weather still sucks here. Where's all of this "Global Warming" I've been hearing about - we could use some around here.

Re: Think Spring !!!
Took a while to get the car out this year but once the nice weather showed up I’ve been driving the cars 1-2 days per week.
Seems like it’s only rained twice in 3 weeks and weather has been almost perfect in New England
It’s almost tiring getting the cars out dusting, covering, uncovering and keeping them nice. Trying to do it while I can because the weather can turn on a dime and we could get a month of rain. Did a lot of maintenance this year too. I hadn’t flushed a radiator in years but wow is old coolant hard to get rid of now!

Re: Think Spring !!!
I’m still on my winter storage fuel with Sta-Bil in the IROC…
It makes me happy that I’m still using $3.19 Premium gas when I take that car out!
With the Vette and the SS I’m on the second tank of the year with $5.29 premium
