Opinions needed
Thinking about painting the baskets of my wheels, originally they were silver, previous owner painted them gold, some days I like them but most days I think about painting them silver, black, or maybe a charcoal gray. What are you guys thoughts on this? Here's a pic of my Bird the way it sits now. The other pic is how the wheels and the car was as new.

See that's just it, I like it too, I'm conflicted lol. I think if I go any direction it'll be a dark gray or black. I've tossed this thought around for for almost two years since I bought the car.

You've got a paint color that looks good with both colors. Might just need to spring for another set of wheels so you can swap when you get bored of one color.

If the car still had silver ground FX i'd say silver wheels but since it's solid blue, I'd do black or dark charcoal wheels

I threw together a quick photoshop. Another option if you like the gold might be bronze. It's the gold of the 2020's! LOL. Seriously though, I love gold accents, but it's certainly been done. I'm actually getting my C5Z wheels done in bronze. Keeps like accent color, but it just looks a little more modern. Not that I don't love the gold. ...and can't go wrong with black. To me, I'd steer clear of the silver unless you painted the GFX too.

I tend to agree. If you have the silver ground FX, you can pick a more neutral color (gray), but with a solid color car, you would want a more contrasting color, gold or black, the gray would be a bit muted. Either looks good to me.

Re: Opinions needed
The gold really pops with that blue, I would leave them gold but like others said Hawks makes them in black if you want an extra set. I would avoid the silver I don't see it looking as good even though it would be correct.

Re: Opinions needed
That silver is a nice look and gets my vote, black lace kinda disappears at a distance and the gold is a GTA only thing. The black does look good too but for me its silver for the win.

Re: Opinions needed
Thanks everyone for your opinions, think I'm gonna save up for some Black basket wheels from Hawks and just have two sets cause I like both the black and the gold.

Gold with polished lips works really well with that shiny blue car. Makes it look more upscale.
Black is too much boy racer. You got the shiny car and then it's just this dull empty abyss where the wheels are.
Silver makes the car look old. That shiny blue paint needs something that pops more than the silver.
