Since I posted in the firebird thread, but this one is a Camaro I'll just cross post them.

In 1995 they made an animated Streetfighter II movie. At the end there is a White 85-90 TA in the background. Movie is chock full of iconic American cars. And considering they have to draw them, that means they were specifically chosen by the animator to be there.

I had a 1983 Trans Am that had a Targa Top done by the same company that did the Simon and Siom
car. The top is actually made of Fiberglas with a pebbled black texture to make it look like leather. They attempted to beef up the chassis by welding two small steel beams underneath,but the body had a lot of flex in it. They are pretty rare.

theres a blurry 3rd gen camaro in the background of the Zombieland 2 movie. its in the scene where the dude with the monster truck drives on top of the limo. you can see it in the parking lot.

I completely understand. To some people,most actually,a car is just something to get them from one place to the other and back again,they couldn’t care less about what it looks like,that explains why most of the cars are just bland plastic piles of junk these days.The average buyer isn’t discriminating and buys boring cars. If people cared those cars wouldn’t sell. It costs just as much to make an ugly boring car as it does to design something beautiful. Plus most people today have the attention span of a gnat,and are just going to toss the car away and buy something else equally as bland to replace it with. I don’t understand folks who “don’t get it” either. But most people aren’t passionate about cars or much else.

If it hasn't been mentioned, I recently come across a norwegian car movie that I really enjoyed. It has a third gen firebird in it as one of the main cars but also a lot of american cars. Being what it is, you need to read subtitles but it is definitely worth it.

"I edit this post so I can say that you should really check this movie out. It is my car movie now. I love gone in 60 seconds and the first fast and furious movie with 2 fast and furious. This one is the car movie. It even has the song east bound and down. And you will all love the car that wins the cross country rally!"

Not sure if someone already mentioned this one....but lots of 80’s nostalgia here. Some nice 3rd gens, Grand National, etc...

I grew up near Queens(NY) during this time and actually cruised the “Franny Lew” a couple times, so this movie speaks to me and did a pretty good job capturing the scene back then. Definitely worth a watch.

Hits close to home. I work in the Milwaukee area and live in the Madison area. I keep my Trans Am tucked away in the garage and make sure all the doors are locked. Crazy times.

Just saw a red 91’-92’ Firebird in Cobra Kai being driven by the old villain Johnny now as a Middle aged guy. Car looked rough but he was blasting Foreigner and giving it the onions.
