Tail Light Repair
Hey Everyone,
Please see the pics of my tail light lenses.
Is there a way to repair these?
I am considering using an epoxy resin to fill the spaces between the 2 pieces
Anyone tried any other options...
Thanks
Paul

Re: Tail Light Repair
Can I ask you how you were able to separate the lens from the housing?

Re: Tail Light Repair
Hello,
There are a some clips at the top of the tail light that have to be adjusted to get the lens off, be very careful and take your time, if you try to rush it, it WILL break, then there is a sealant around the lens that needs to be cut out or removed and has to be done incrementally and very carefully.
I want to express the "very carefully and take your time do not rush it, the lens WILL Break"
Thanks
Paul

Re: Tail Light Repair
Had to use a heat gun, oven too small. I was successful. Removed, polished and installed on a better mount. Thanks
