black lugs vs chrome lugs - chrome irocs

Hey guys, just looking for opinions on what most would consider a minor detail, but it's been driving me nuts. I can't decide between chrome lug nuts or black lug nuts on my chrome irocs.

Look at the pics, and let me know your opinion.

Also, I'm thinking of having the wheels stripped of their chrome, and redone with the stock look (machined/painted). Share your opinion on this as well, as I've been debating this for a while with myself.

I'm also going to post this in the wheels and tires section if that's ok. Sorry for the crummy pics.

I think the black looks better with the black caps. So......
These are black chrome
These = http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mc...t/model/camaro

with these = http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mc...t/model/camaro

Or something similar in black.

Also that's a beautiful car .

Those wheels will also look good stripped. No matter what you use with the wheels now, stock with black plastic covers or polished black chrome will look great.

The black caps look better IMO... they add contrast.

With all chrome wheels, you need the black for contrast. With the factory style finish (painted mine charcoal metallic) I chose chrome for the same reason.

i also think the black looks better. nice car BTW!

IDK if you can powder coat over chrome? but i know they can use special tape if you want the veins detailed gray, black, metallic something, etc. probably look cool with black metallic veins? maybe photoshop it?

Thank you for the compliment. It's funny you bring up the McGard's black chrome nuts, as that's what I put on the passenger side. The driver's side has the stock style with screw on caps. Another debate I'm trying to decide on.....
