I'm a little late Travis, but WOW what a great car! You scored a winner and clearly did alot of great work on it.
I'm, sorry (we) are from the northeast, so I know how hard it is just to find a rust free anything up there. Enjoy and have fun.

Re: September COTM **WINNER**
Thank you Mark. It took me almost a year to find a car that wasn't rusted out, or completely destroyed. I have worked very hard to get this car back up to the show quality it deserves. I may not have the amount of money needed to make it completely perfect, but I have poured a ton into this car a little at a time. I just got a new windshield last week, and my winter projects are to include getting the door panels repaired as they are slightly rippled, and new outer window felts. The car runs and looks fantastic, and thank you again for the kind words!

Re: September COTM **WINNER**
Its been a bit since I've been on here, so I figured I'd give a little update. My winter projects have been coming along nicely. I have installed new outer window sweeps on both doors. They came out very nicely. I bought a used set of front signal lenses, and used the forums here on to how to restore them. It was very helpful. They came out fantastic! I have also bought a good auto adjust mirror for my original one that had some discoloration. I just bought some new hood insulation this week and that will be installed sometime next week depending on the weather. I hope everyone has a safe and happy new year.

Beautiful car, I have an 89 same color, needs paint. I'll be putting it back to stock but with single line wheels and some sport seats so we can spend more than a couple of hours in the car at a time. Again congrats looks amazing

Thanks man! This color isn't the stock color though. Its a Chevy paint color though. It's called Cobalt Blue Metallic. Restoring the car has been a lot of fun. Thanks for the kind words.

I finally got a warm day here in Central PA to show some of my improvements. I put on new outer window felts, restored a pair of front turn signal housings, added new hood insulation, and did some touch up under the hood. Let me know what you think.

Hey everyone, long time no talk. I just wanted to post a few of the pictures that I took from Carlisle GM Nationals 2014. I spent the weekend hangin out with my buddy Zach aka 86'sportcoupe. We both came through with some awards. I took third place in the stock 82-92 Camaro category, and Zach took home second in 82-92 Camaro Street category. Enjoy the pics, and feel free to leave some comments.

Last set of pictures. It was such a fun weekend hanging out with Camaro fans. Next year will be even better. GM Nationals is going to do a 30 years of the IROC-Z display, so that will definitely be something to see.

I've been to Carlisle a couple of times with my son, for the XXX Nationals (going on there this weekend as a matter of fact). They do a great job there. I'd like to make it out there some time for the GM Nationals.
Do they use the small autocross course during the GM show?

Thank you, the blue on my IROC really stands out in the sunlight. I absolutely love this color! I was super stoked to take third this year!
