Car show pics. Super Chevy show, and KBPI show
Well its been a really busy past couple weeks for me. I got both the Camaro's polished up, showed off, and even raced the 91 against my best friend.
Just wanted to show off a couple of the pics I took during the past two weekends
KBPI Rock and Roll car show
This is my 91 Z28 and my friend Shaun's 1989 5.3 swapped IROC
Staging lanes ready to "Grudge race" each other...
The track photos of mine...
The guys at Adams polishes offered to show me a trick to help with our dashes keeping any even shine even in the hottest of sun, so they had me pull it into their booth
* Trick is using their leather conditioner on the dash pad. Offers SPF 65 UV protection and leaves and very nice even shine... and made the car smell new
While we were getting the truck ready to trailer Shauns car home, we realized that we actually made a pretty cool photo op!

Re: Car show pics. Super Chevy show, and KBPI show
Last Saturday I got both of MY Z28's out and polished up to take back to Denver for the Super Chevy show.
This was the first "real" trip with the convertible, and its first car show since the paint was completed a couple weeks ago.
6:20 in the morning waiting to get in...
The 91...
The 92...
Shiny!
The end result...

While show boards are nice, I've seen many fall at shows and either scratch the car or worse, dent it. You should consider the type of show boards that they use at the International Auto Shows that you need to drive up on to hold them in place. You will not get any scratches or dents from those.

I know the owner and he does custom work. There are other companies out there that do a nice stand also. Look into the different options and prices and get the best bang for your buck.

I did a google search for car show display stands and found a very nice one from a Mustang owner. Check his out. It looks like he has changed from his early days to what he offers now. Very nice.

Re: Car show pics. Super Chevy show, and KBPI show
Thanks man! My car is the only third gen to be picked by the editors this year, and since the program started not one has made it into the yearly voting, so I'm hoping all my third gen buddies can come together and help get this through.
Thanks man. It has been a long road with the convertible or at least feels like it. There is still stuff I'm going to do with it to improve it further, but its looking pretty darn good
Thanks for voting. I'm really hoping that the I can pull this off and get into the 2nd round... Keeping voting with as many emails accounts as you can LOL

Looks great! I've always loved that STB. That vert looks really good too, it's come a long way.
Your board looks awesome, I need to get one for my sand rail.
This is the board style that was referred to above. The bottom peice is shaped like an L.

Yeahp, if you look close you can see the bottom part of the "L" is underneath the tire.

I think my board is too big to be put on a pedastal like the ones pictures above, but I think I'm gonna try somthing with a low mount that is held in place under the tire. Its a wonderful idea. Thanks for sharing that pic man, and yes the convertible has come a LONG way. I need to find the original owner and show him.

I'm excited for the next few years as some more of these amazing builds on third gens get completed and they are out there smacking down, and making people think twice about our cars.
