Vinyl wrapped thirdgen like classic Hot Wheels car!
Original Hot Wheels car in my hand that I've had since new, vinyl wrap done by my friend's graphics shop in Waldorf/La Plata, Md. (racerwraps.com):
Flat black vinyl with flat red/orange/yellow stripes on top. Wheels were Plasti-Dipped.

This is my autocross car, and this is pretty much what it looked like before in all it's purple-ness:

Looks really good! Does the vinyl wrap cost more than a paint job?

Probably more compared to a Maaco job I guess. Only car I had painted was my old '90 WS6, and that was done on the side.
Eric said he will do prices starting in the $1,500 range, and they go up depending on the size of the car, graphics, etc. The vinyl is pretty cheap, but the man hours on applying the vinyl and designing the graphics are what really drive the prices.

Raise up the back, put on some side pipes, put a blower on it, put the standard spoiler on, and install a sunroof and you've got a perfect match!
Really cool idea.
I actually have one of those myself. (This is not it, but it's exactly like it)
