Look to paint my car (NAME THIS COLOR)
I'm looking to paint my 91 RS Camaro. I've seen this color on several Maros around the internet but I'm having trouble identifying it. Can anyone name this color or give me codes for it?
I think it might be a stock color GM used in the early 90s, possibly GM WA9540. Any help is greatly appreciated.

That car belong to 1meanz, so you can ask him if you want a for sure answer I'd imagine, but I also think it's flame red metallic.

Hi 2007xl50! That's what my Trans Am is going to look like when I get her painted. Going to keep the grey bottom but like Flame Red Metallic colour alot better then mine. Cheers Bro..

IIRC the paint code for my flame red is 74. If you do a search in the body section i'm sure it will pop up. My car is an 87 by the way.

If your talking about my car then it's more the pic, plus it's 26 year old paint-it has some issues-it's rubbed out a bit better now since that pic. In person it looks darker, but is indeed the original flame red-never painted. Below is a pic taken the same day. The one with my Camaro was taken about a month ago.

Good color choice, Flame Red Metallic really pops in the sun. Never seen the color on an RS, so it would be cool to see how it turns out.
I would contact ScottMoyer. He is a moderator with an all-original '87 IROC in Flame Red Metallic. I'm SURE he knows the color code considering he has every scrap of paperwork ever linked to his car.
EDIT: I checked his car's window sticker and it looks like the paint code is 74, as 2007xl50 said.

When I got the car I liked the color, but wished it was a bright red, but now after having the car almost a year I love the color so much with the silver on the GFX.
