Cars and kids!
I happened to take a couple pics of my little guy Braxton playing with daddy's Z28 at a show this weekend. Thought I can't be the only one taking pics of their kid/s with their third gen... Post them here!

Pic of my little guy. He loves being around the car pressing every button he can find.
He is around 13 months in this picture and almost 2 years in the second one.

Yea, he wants one now, he will be 15 in December, looking for an 87-92 now, I have to find some pics of him covered from head to toe in dirt. I used to take him with me on days when pre-school was closed, he would get filthy, had to take him to Grammys house for a bath before I brought him home.

Re: Cars and kids!
No kids here, but somewhere way back in the family albums there's a picture of me when I was maybe a year old with my dad's Texas State Trooper hat on, standing up in the driver seat and holding the steering wheel of his mid-80's Dodge Diplomat Pursuit Unit. One of my favorite pictures of all time, that still hangs on my kitchen wall, is a picture of my dad, brother, and I (about age 12), along with my dog "Hubcap", posing just after we dropped the new 390 into his '66 T-bird.
I can honestly say that one of the best things my dad has ever done for me was to introduce me to the automotive hobby. I simply would not be the person I am today if he hadn't. The lessons of "getting your hands dirty", "improvise, adapt, and overcome", and "waste not, want not" are as old as the hot-rodding community itself. You guys with kids keep up the good work. Those little tikes might just turn into tomorrow's engineers, and we certainly need as many as we can get.

Wonderful!! I youngest is now 9 but I still have the Spongebob rear floormats in the car. They were a gift from my oldest a long time ago. I can't bear to take them out.

Re: Cars and kids!
D'aww, cute pics. Brings a tear to my eye.
My dad passed when I was around 8, and he was really into cars. Some of my earliest memories are of him working on his 67 firebird and 2nd gen camaro. Beautiful stuff. Sadly no one else in my family is mechanically inclined, so I had to learn about the beauty of them from my friends dad growing up.

Re: Cars and kids!
His facial expressions in the second set of pictures (after riding in the cars) vs. the first few sets (before riding in them) is priceless. It's like, "Yeah these cars are cool!" and then, "Oh my god that was AMAZING!"

Re: Cars and kids!
This was this winter on a half way warm day my oldest son was helping me sand the car
AAANNND my favorite... The surprised face of the time on the clock at the track (a year or so ago)
He has a bag of tools he uses to help me work on my car lol.
Every Saturday morning he is asking me if we are going to go work on daddy's car. I am even starting to loose my lug nut covers because he is always taking them off and putting them back on when im not looking. He loves cars. Every time we go somewhere " I want to take daddys car"
Never thought i could ever love some one so much, or be willing to give my life up to protect.
Mine are 3.5yrs and 8 months (2 boys)

Re: Cars and kids!
Cool Thread! I don't have any kids but I hope that one day when I do, I'll be able to get them into the hobby. Takes me back to when I'm a little kid and my dad used to let me shift his 5 speed ranger.

4th of July weekend this year. He's 10 now. First Pic I've taken of him in the 3rd gen. I've had several of him in my late 96' Z from the time he was born. It's cool to see him grow in daddy's car(s)

Re: Cars and kids!
My wife has her listening to I don't know what...some kind of spanish music though. This is a sign...she prefers the music I play for her when her mom is not around. Pantera was playing in the car during this photo though.
Maks, lets see them! And congrats to you as well, again. A day apart is crazy.

My oldest daughter, I think she was three, when we stopped while we were taking it for a drive. Time flies, she's ten now.
