Re: Post pics of your factory look 3rd gen
I love this thread, all of you guys have beautiful cars. My car is heavily modified, but I try to keep the appearance as much OEM as possible... OEM+ perhaps. These are one of the few cars where deviating from factory body lines really ruins them the vast majority of the time.

1989 formula 350. original color was black but due to the idiotic california water paint the original paint was caming off cracking and allowing light surface rust. i repainted it black cleaning it down to bare metal.
ive also replaced the spoiler headliner with repro stuff just because the original materials rotted out.
ive repiared with oem parts when neccessary and available with my goal keeping it looking like it just rolled off the factory line as much as possible yet still gets used.
46,000 miles atm. nothing more sad and pathetic than a car that has only a few miles on the odometer. anytime one of those low miles cars turns up someone should take pity on it and take it on a long several week roadtrip.
anyway here is my baby

Aftermarket exhaust and chrome lugs. Other than that, straight stock.

Here's a pic with the Iroc's, and the red interior. Mine is still red too, has no fading. The only problem is the seatbelt receivers. The plastic is cracked on them.

I sold those Iroc's to a kid in town who has a 91 RS and somebody put 14" S10 rims on his. It looked hideous. He's tickled pink with those Iroc's now.
