Re: Took some pictures after a thorough cleaning
Thanks! They are ion alloy. I painted the center caps black, they were originally chrome. I did this because the front dust cap on the bearings protruded beyond the dust caps on the rims. I simply cut a hole in the front dust caps on the rims to allow for the inner dust cap to poke through then painted them black all the way around.

Re: Took some pictures after a thorough cleaning
Yes, the Rockford's I have in there were too deep so I had to lift them. Thus the stock covers wouldn't fit. The clearance issue was with the gauge cluster. I plan on a gauge swap probably within the summer and I will be able to sink the speakers back down and put the stock covers on. Also my dash was beginning to crack and those covers just barely covered the cracks. It is likely that, with the new gauges, the dash pad will be re-surfaced with fiberglass. Thanks for the constructive criticism though for sure. One other thing that is SURE to go are those seat covers. Currently their main purpose is to protect the seats. This leads directly to my plans to reupholster in blue leather. My father is a saddle maker and could do an EXCELLENT job with quality leather goods. Finally the car needs a paint job :/ of course these pictures don't demonstrate this need. In broad sunlight it is obvious that the PO painted both bumpers, the hood, a touch up on the unibody and didn't clearcoat! > Of course the paint is faded, matte and feels almost like paper. It's a shame that the stock paint on the doors and rest of the car is perfect but must be painted over. It would be a nightmare to paint half of the car and get it to match perfectly.

This car is in pretty good condition for at 82. I really like the color. Hopefully when you repaint it they'll be able to get it the same color.

Re: Took some pictures after a thorough cleaning
So just hypothetically what do you think it is worth?
Here are the specs:
1982 Pontiac Firebird TransAm
305 Fuel injected V8
3 Speed Automatic Transmission
T-tops
Brand new tires
Electric Windows/locks
Cruise control
Rockford Fosgate speakers
Brand newAlloy 5 spoke rims (a set of chrome cragar style rims will be included)
All original with exceptions of speakers/head unit/rims (original head unit included)
Interior is beautiful
Paint needs touched up across hood and bumpers
Work I have done to it within the last few months:
New Tires/Rims
New alternator
New belts
New spark plugs
New battery
Coolant system was pressure tested for leaks
