Painted Engine Compartment
Well ive never really posted here other then in the classifides so i figured i would do a sort of introduction/current state. Well i bought my car about 1year ago give or take a few weeks. Had big plans to get it done before the end of that school year(senior year) but between a girlfriend and jobs and sports i never got to it. Well the plans are still basically the same. We have a 400ci small block for it with TPI. I bought the Trans Am(86 btw) without a motor and a fugd interior. I lived with my mom at the time and the car was at dads so i couldnt just go out whenever and work on it. But i live with dad now and have slowly got around to cleanin the engine compartment to prepare it for paint and finally painted it today! Got some pics to show from the day i brought it home to current.
The paint is summit single stage Flame Red. Also pictured is the new flywheel and clutch kit. I think it turned out really good. The pictures make it look more orange then it is in person though. All I really need to do now is get a fuel pump and headers and then its ready to be put together. Of course I need to get small stuff like gasket sets, hoses, ect still. So what does everyone think?

First page is updated with all the ones previous to the paint job. From the day i brought her home till paint. Here are the paint ones.
Now once again, it looks wayyy better in person compared to these pictures. With it being my phones camera and the red paint and lighting the pictures make it look alot oranger then it really is.

i was actually looking at the same color from summit. looks legit man. you could prolly take advantage of the messed up interior and pain your door jams too.

We will be painting the door jambs and interior later on actually. I say we as me and my dad. He is helping me alot with the work that i dont already know how to do. This was my first paint job. The exterior will be this color as well. So when we do that we will do the interior and everything else.
