I was wondering if anyone knew if in 85 the car could come with this paint scheme or not... these pics are of when i had it the first time but nothing has changed on the exterior just the bumber cover flaking worse

Re: Did u have a Thirdgen in highschool?
Graduated in 2000.>>>>>>> Brown 84 trans am with the l69 ho 305 and a 5 speed. I still have the car,<<<<<<< since then have put in a 350 and 700r tranny. And been in the process of doing the knight rider conversion, which is close to being done. My dad bought me the car in 97. Had it for a long time.

Re: HELP COLOR UNKNOWN

I think american racing used to make rims that looked like that but I don't think they make them anymore.

Re: HELP COLOR UNKNOWN

villie, look on the rad support, on top in the middle. Most have a metal tag on there with a two digit number. This should be your paint code in 2 digit form. Paint supply store or someone else should be able to convert this to a WA number that most paint stores use. I've seen a list of available colors somewhere but can't remember where now. It's not in the manual I have.

Re: HELP COLOR UNKNOWN

The ones on the car are a chrome plated steel wheel that lots of companies produced in the 80's and early 90's.

The second wheel is a clearcoated aluminum wheel, american racing number AR-26. They are long out of production, I bought a set on closeout way back in 1997.
