Where to buy SS hood?

I'm buying an SS fiberglass hood for my Camaro. Where does everyone gets theirs from? I was probably going to order it from Hawks since that seems to be the favorite. Any info on alternatives or testimony of how shipping was from Hawks would be awesome! Thanks

The only one I really know of is Hawk's. I would suggest taking the most used route from here because you're dealing with fiberglass and you want someone who will give you the best fit and finish guaranteed.

American Sports Car Design is where i bought mine from. I purchased one from Hawks prior to purchasing my ASCD hood and it was junk. Terrible quaility and didn't fit at all, so i sent it back.

Re: Where to buy SS hood?

Thanks guys, I bought the hood. Im wondering if this will fit the 3rd gen style SS hoods? or if the scoop on the 4th gens is slightly different? Anybody try one of these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Decal...Q5fAccessories

from what i noticed about the ss hood that i bought from ascd is that it resembles the scoop design from the 93-97 ss not the later 98+ design scoop as it goes wide at the rear of the hood instead of narrowing. its actually a good question if the scoop at the front is still the same dimensions. in your case its only a decal and it can be cut to fit np.
