best way to clean up eggs

i wake up this morning, my parents tell me kids over night went egging everybodys car down our road where i live. I went out my car was covered with eggs. LITTLE B*****S, so i went to pick up some eagle one nanowax and car detail, the soap helped, but didnt work, when i was done drying up the car it left 2 circle cracks in the paint on the drivers side and one on the passenger. And some is still hard to get off because its dryed up on there. Whats the best way to egg off since little the bastards ruined my car anyway.

Someone shot my daily driver with a BB Gun. So I know how you feel. They caught the a**holes though. Here's a couple of links I found while googling. http://www.ehow.com/how_155871_wash-egg-car.html http://www.ehow.com/how_4715037_drie...car-paint.html

Re: best way to clean up eggs

Yeah my GTA is under a $300 dollar car cover when it is parked in the driveway. Did you take pictures of it and have a police report and check with your insurance agent as well. These vandals that do this don't realize the amount of money and time we put into our cars to make them look the way they do. I was pissed when my 96 Pontiac Grand Prix was bb'd. But would be really po'ed if that would have been the GTA. I bought some Meguiar's M105 car polish. This polish is terrific. I tried it on my front bug etched fiberglass bumper and it really made a difference. I like it better than ScratchX. I used a wax applicator to apply it, just to see what it would do. It's is abrasive and but not that abrasive. It made a definite improvement to the front bumper. I just need to go over the front bumper with my Ultimate Detail Machine buffer and Meguiar's M105.

Re: best way to clean up eggs

The links above are as accurate as can be. Sorry to hear that happened to you. I'm pretty sure most of us on this site have had something like that happen and can sympathize. I don't blame you for blowing up, I went balistic when I found a large rock smashed through my back glass of my old '89 Iroc. Fortunately the little ****** were dumb enough to have put their hands all over my car (fingerprints show well on black cars) as well as the others they did the same to. Cops spent quite a bit of time on my street, and by the evening had the dirt bags in custody. I hope your experience at least comes with a happy ending at some point.

Re: best way to clean up eggs

The bastard showed up last night at car night that happens every saturday night here, all the street racers get together to race. Dont think i beat the T/A i don't i dont race as much, probably one race a month. But anyway, the guy that did it lives 4 neighborhoods over from me and he had the nerve to actually come out there last night on my boys territory act all badass in his 89 mustang he has. He started running his month about me to other people, while 2 of his other drunk friends where in the car. That guy had guts to be out there last night, and my buddy was trying so hard to keep me calm the entire time. So i got an idea and i didnt literally give a **** about him or his car. So my friend got some chains and tied his car up to a tree. I told him in a nice way if he would wanna race. He said i can beat your f*****g car. I said okay. Prove it! So i went to take off, and when he got to take off with his boys and PONY wasnt going anywhere lol and i was laughing my *** off, and i said to him is that pony that damn slow?????? He got so mad and got off thinking he was gonna come punch me, me and my friends went up and said well...... what you gonna do about it? lol it was the funniest thing and he went walking away not even seeing the chains hooked up to his axle. I told him not mess with me again or he is getting it 10 times worse next time, and he was the only lucky that last night a buddy of mine thats a cop didnt come out last nite like he usually does.

Re: best way to clean up eggs

I am all too familiar with this crap, I don't really understand why people do it, but it always happens to my vehicles..

I bought my new car about 7 months ago, my cobalt, which meant I wasnt driving the Ram much anymore. My little brother needed a car to drive, so he was making payments on it, but it was still my truck.

he was sleeping around with this girl for like a month, and decided to break it off with her, she went psycho, she knew he was driving that truck, so she came to my house at like 1am and squirted mustard all over the truck, cracked an egg in the gas tank, and squirted honey down there too.. I got home about 1:30 and saw the damage, didnt know about the crap in the tank until the next day, when the truck wouldnt run.

we washed the mustard off, ASAP, because that stuff would eat the paint away pretty quickly, needless to say I was pissed, we had no proof it was her, but we knew it was. dropping the tank and replacing the filter on the end of my pump, sucked *****.

so, about a month ago, I was driving my cobalt, took it to the bowling alley, went to leave, and someone spit all over it, and dumped their beer on it, I was really pissed, the truck I was mad, but with my brand new car, that I just washed, someone spit all over, and dumped beer on it.. to top it off, it was cold out, so that crap froze on there.. I wanted to crack some skulls..

a couple weeks ago, I was driving the Ram again, went to buffalo wild wings with a couple people, come out, and someon had like a napkin, with used tabacco chew in it, smeared it all over the windshield, and stuck it under my wiper blade, I was like wtf? what is peoples beef with me?

I hate when people do stupid crap like this, these people are lucky that I didnt see them do this crap.

Re: best way to clean up eggs

Try some hot water and soap, keep the hot water/towel/sponge on the egg until it softens, if you soak it long enough w/ hot enough water it'll soften up...

Re: best way to clean up eggs

Jack up his car in the middle of the night, slip a pair of watermelon rinds (wet & fresh) under the back tires.

When he goes to leave, the car will ust sit there & go nowhere.

He'll get out...Walk around the car.....No chains.....Hmmmmm.....

Tro to move again....Car goes nowhere.

Finally he'll figure it out & hafta jack the car up, to get the watermelon rinds out from under the car. Chances are, he'll at least be late for work.

Don't ask me how I learned about how well this works.......

if you really wanna get him tie a strong but barely noticeable string from the drive shaft to the passenger side mirror. most people don't walk around there car and check it out before they leave in the mornings. we did it to an old plow truck as a joke

Re: best way to clean up eggs

That sucks a buddy of mine was doing that **** around here and someone got my car after I got it painted the first time..WOW I was pissed I made him buy me a quart of paint and clear. A good way is to take a nice thick Zip Tie..Tie it to the drive shaft..its just a loud *** anoying sound that really doesnt hurt anything..or you could do what Wes did senior year for grad. That night I was going to the track and a buddy of mine had my floor jack in the bed of his truck wiht my slicks..Not a good Combo lol. Thought it was funny to do it to me and then drive off..but find some blocks and jack up the car and put them under the rear end..and then leave. Its all good and fun until you cant fix it by buffing or maybe a screw driver or a wrench. If I didnt like someone that screwed with my baby..Id unscrew his oil filter Let it drip just a little bit not a puddle over a week or so..OPPS MY BAD

Re: best way to clean up eggs

This board has me scared to death now. I know some kids at my school who are going around throwin muffins at peoples cars and I already told them that if my car gets hit with a muffin im gunna take all the air out of their tires and cover the door handles in icing. It pisses me off when people go out and do crap like this for no reason. I don't care if they just mess around some but I hate it when they do permanent damage. Never had anything happen to my car yet.

Well what you can do is if they throw the muffins. Hopefully Blueberry they are my favorite and you said you had icing. Pastry icing that is. Put it on the muffins. YUM!!!

Re: best way to clean up eggs

If they really damage your car, and i mean really hurt it, just loosen up their lugnuts. Not so loose that they come off, but enough to egg out their rims and absolutely wreck the wheel studs. At school here a kid jacked up a guys truck took the wheels off, AND LET IT DOWN ON THE ROTORS! He loosened his lugnuts, the kid didnt touch anyones car again.

wow i have heard all of those accept the watermelon one lol. i believe this kid is stupid, and asking for his death wish early. He just went out today and egged my buddies 2000 camaro, My friend which is a big person btw literally blew up and made a huge scene leaving school today. i just found out an hour ago it was the same kid. He will never learn, tomorrow we had a plan or siram wrap, and jack the car up on blocks and take off some panels. We told this kid not to f**k with us. We are still deciding what to do on top of that. Next time, its gonna be the cops.

Re: best way to clean up eggs

**** him off GOOD, rile him up, then video him messing with your car.....And take the video to the police.

Watching a guy get hauled away by the cops, is 10 times better than anything you can physically do to him. Trust me.... Been there, done that.

Wounds heal, cars get fixed....Arrest records last forever.

Besides, you do something physical to him or his car, who says he doesn't get smart/his parents don't.....call the cops on YOU?

If you got a wifi network at home you can pick up wireless vid cams for like 40$ and catch them in the act, then sue him, get a new paint job, and some new parts.

Re: best way to clean up eggs

Sorry to hear about the egg incident.
Ive seen some really messed up stuff happen to peoples cars.We got a minivan in our shop once that had a giant ***** keyed in the hood and had "********" written all over it.
As for the guy with the Crapstang, I dont think he needs any revenge....I feel bad enough for him.He owns a mustang, poor guy.
Well, we like to put zip ties on drive shafts, pull out schrader valves and put the valve caps back on.We just do this stuff to people we work with for fun!
My boss got a "cowboys butts drive me nuts" bumper sticker once.Took him about a week to find it!
The guy obviously isnt too bright.Your best bet really is to just catch him in the act somehow. The law will take care of him.You can also rely on karma.

Re: best way to clean up eggs

im actually sort of sorry for the guy considering he is in the hospital at the moment, drunk driving racing against my buddies 88 IROC-Z. They hit about one 120 and the kid somehow went off the road and into a ditch flipped a couple of times. This happened right next to my work coming home tonight to. I think he had it coming though. I dont care really about his mustang though, surprising he didnt go out the windshield of the car, car was gonna die someday anyway. But i have to say im sorry for the guy and not at the sametime. He was a real *****, but know he got a big dose of reality in his life.

Oh man.....Hate to see that happen to anyone (well...MOST anyone ) but egging doesn't really warrant that....

I guess bsporty hit the nail on the head.....Just tell the guy.."Sorry about your wreck dude...Karma's a B*TCH, huh?"

Re: best way to clean up eggs

I agree with Stephen. Best just to get the cops involved. Sounds like a neverending circle. What comes around goes around and around and around. Holy crap I just posted this and did'nt read the above. Talk about bad Karma.
