Cragar Soft 8 or 441?

I know the soft 8 are more typical of the 4x4 wheel, but they are growing on me rapidly.... i get a "bring it" feel from them

i also sorta like the 441, but it doesnt feel as aggresive...feels more laid back along for the ride

they would be 15in most likely wrapped in 225/60 front and 245/60 rear

please ignore the paint or lack there of, this was the best matching angle i had on hand

thoughts?

If you're wanting to go with a budget steel wheel, I think the Cragar "D Window" wheels look better than the Soft 8s. Of the two you've narrowed it down to, though, I'd lean toward the Soft 8s.

One thing to consider is that any of any of these are heavy wheels, and extra unsprung weight will have a detrimental effect on ride and handling.

Re: Cragar Soft 8 or 441?

d windows are a nice option if you want the blacked out look

but i dont want black, near as i can tell the only way to get them in chrome is as a streetlock and i dont need phony beadlocks on a car

the weight is not a huge concern, as the car is strictly a weekend cruiser, it might get taken to a fun night at the strip 1 or 2 times a year

as for going budget steel, im tired of polishing aluminum all the time..... in my experience chrome should be a bit easier to care for and i like being different

i've never seen a car around here with either of those, just lots of jeeps with black soft 8s tho

my dad has a 74 nova with the cragar double fluted i think series 340?
i like them also, but not so much on my car, i've seen one physically on it, thus no photoshop

here is the nova
