read my first post. I don't care what you think neither does anyone else. This is just to pre-organize a group purchase and build interest in a product that is a "bolt-on" for our cars. If you don't like them or want them, then shut up and stop taking up hard drive space. If you have questions, experience, or ideas then please post.
sorry if that offends but not having a good night just worked 16 hours. And I'm tired of everyone putting in their without being asked for it. I just stated what most of the contributing members think. I apologize if I'm out of line.

tpi383 can get the diablo kit for slightly more but its not bolt on i don't think. i still haven't got them. They're killing me! All this interest and it's been over a week since i gave them my contact information. And they're only 5 1/2 hours from me. So i don't see shipping taking a long time.

I have been watching this thread for some time (beginning) and was waiting on an update worth posting for.....NOW I CANT WAIT TO SEE THESE ON 87'S CAR......I just want a side shot...up-close shot.....video and some up-close shots of the work involved.
Also these have to be bolt on because they are sending 87 a kit....I doubt they would send him a kit that had to be welded....LMAO. just saying I doubt they would let him have (even if it is only 1 side) 1 for free. LOL. Cant wait now be sure to TAKE MANY MANY MANY PICTURES....INSIDE THE CAR...FROM THE PASSENGER SEAT, FROM THE REAR....ANYWHERE YOU CAN SIT LEANE OR STAND BY....TAKE A PICTURE OF IT AT THAT ANGLE. THANKS MUCH.

well they got back to me and are shipping the hinge this week. my interior is bare in my project car right now but i can throw some seats in it so you can get an idea of what it'll be like. I'll take pictures from every angle I can think of. And if it doesn't take long to install I'll make video. The fenders arent bolted to the car so it's easy access to that area. If that works for you guys let me know or i can put it on my daily driver but it doesnt have door panels at the moment either lol. but it has everything else. i just cant afford alot of downtime since im working 7 days now.

not a problem for me...my 1992 firebird was near perfect when i bought it with the exception of my driver's side doormounted cupholder is completely missing and the one that was on the right side a friend of mine accidentally knocked off, so it now remains in my "trunk". btw, i'm restoring it the rest of the way since it's already in such good shape, anyone know of any 86 to 90 front bumpers for sale? i hate that 92 style.

DAMN. Wish I had the money. I want something like this kit but want to wait until I completely re-do my doors.
I am looking into Harwood Fiberglass doors, TDS door hinge deluxe repair kit, and new door panels with all inner door panel parts foamed and insulated for no rattle, and also my speedglass windows. So until I buy all of this, costing over $1000 to do my doors completely, I cant purchase this kit...would like to but just cant.

As a matter of fact I do....just dont know how much? If its $500.....I am def buying my doors...
$320 per door fiberglass = $640 so say $750 (with shipping)
$220 door hinge repair kit (deluxe with grease gun)
$15 Foaming and padding
Speedglass 2 windows= $450 (including shipping)
So about = $1435
Misc bolts and screws/ washers, door panels= $150 or so....so basically $1500+ before I do my lambo or.......maybe a suicide...would still like to see pictures.
PRICES ARE NOT ACTUAL...MORE OF AN ESTIMATE PLUS SOME.

I already know why he took them off. his was a weld on kit and and he did it without the fenders on. and when he put them back on he had issues with the door hitting the fender. it was something like that it was awhile back he said something about it. he had the gtfactory weld on kit.

And no no kit yet. no tracking number either...
I just sent them another email. they said last week that it would be mailed out last week and they'd get me a tracking number and that hasn't happened yet.

Some poeple dont see the need for vert doors but go to a college with tiny parking spots that barely fit a third gen and you'll know y there so important. If i park tight to the line on one side ive got about one foot on the other side from the line. Some spots vary in size also because ive had spots where my 89 rs WONT fit in it and ive had spots where my car gets lost in the spot and it looks like im in a spot and a half. When i get stuck in a small spot it sucks to squeze my 6'1" 175 frame out of the door. Id like the ability to just go hey it looks like i have no room (vert).Especially going down by the harbor where everybody shows off there car or at the weekly car show up on bald hill it will deffinately get you noticed. As for welding if you really want you could always tack weld the edges to the frame of the car instead of just relying on the bolts. A couple of good tacks like two on each side on top one botom and that door will never fall out of the bolt holes and on to you. I'd like to know how much the powered are! While i have a friend who is a auto electronics wiz and he probly could do it to them if they arent much more i might just utalize that tax rebate check for this kind of a project.
Im just wondering if adjustable means you just lift how high you want to and swing the door how ever far you want to before lifting or if there is a "locking" or "hindering" device to stop the door from going further because i didnt see anything in the picture and from what it looks like you just open the door however your heart desires and they want to call that adjustable.
