The AR-23 Wheel by American Racing ?
Ive done some research and found that this wheel is offered in a Camaro version and looks a lot like like the Center Line Convo-Pro at a more affordable price.I found it listed under American Racing Wheels. Its offered with a smaller center cap in a 4 3/4 bolt pattern to fit our cars. My question to the group is; Is there any one out there running this wheel or the Outlaw 2 on there car? And if so, do you like it?
This is the AR-23 American Racing alloy Wheel in question.

OK, sense this thread has been activated again from the archive, I thought I would post some photos. Please keep in mind that I did not know how important it is to have the rear back spacing right. I was vary new a this game at the time. Wheels are 15x7in.with 3.75 BS in the front with 235/60r15 Cooper Cobras, and wheels in the rear are 15x8in.also with 3.75 BS with 295/50r15 Hankook Ventus 101 tires in the rear.Thous wheels are only offered in the 3.75 BS. in the 15in.wheel. I think the rear wheels should have a 5.5 BS. and I am "slowly" saving up for a set of Weld Pro Stars in the correct BS.Also if I run a 255/60r15 in the rear they look fine. Its just the wide rear tires on the 3.75in. BS.that is throwing the rears out some.

so these wheels dont really fit our cars very good? the back wheels stick out with the 295s because these wheels are only offered with 3.75 backspacing?

Thats right. I have seen a few really nice cars on this site that are running these wheels but only as wide as 235/60r15s in the rear. I will see if I can find some photos of these cars for you. OK,I hope these guys don't mind me using there photos.I found two that are both running 235s and you can see they tuck in. 255 would be right on the edge.If you want to run a fatter/wider tire on the rear do your self a favor and find a different wheel. That is if you want them to tuck in so they don't rub.Mine are a little to the out side but do not rub because I am running independently controlled air shocks that keep them from touching. As I said earlier I have my sites set on the Weld Pro Stars in the correct BS as soon as I can put together about 1,000.00 to get everything needed.

The AR-23s are a clear coated aluminum alloy that you only use soap and water on. NO HARSH CEMACALS OR WHEEL CLEANER/POLISH OF ANY KIND. My wheels look as good today as they did when I bought them 8 years ago. Here's a thread showing the wheels as they are now.

Since I see that Mickey Thompson has a new "All Season" Street Radial ,the (M/T Sportsman S/T) Im going to give them a try when replacement time comes. Rears will be first.....The other side is a black wall that says the same thing but in black raised letters and that is what I will have showing. Black wall out.= http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mtt-6028
