i know if they were advertised i would have bought them if they were reasonable! wonder if something can be fabbed that's similiar for a decent price? the actuators that open the louvers might be the worst part. think you could make something like that nelapse?

American Sports Car Design has a picture of one in an ad for a hood. No mention of the lovers on the car, but they look nice.

I love thoes i did not know they where motorized. I love the look of them! I thing they would look realy sharp if they where painted the body color. I wish i could find that company that made them and see if they stilll had them.

So the Firebird guys are always asking about how to get rid of the pop up headlights. And now Camaro guys want them. Too funny

i think they are ugly and a complete wast of money and time to put em on. it wouldnt do anything... if you dont want to see the headlights for some reason get some cheap covers.

All you need is some plastic material ( i will research what kind ) and some sort of actuator.. I have some at home that are like a mini wench that reels in a small amount of cable. supply positive voltage it reels it up, reverse the polarity it goes down. now if you ask me is this something i want to get into, probably not. i dont even own a camaro to mock up. Besides once i finish bleeding my slave cyl and get my bird on the road, i have to perfect the parts I already custom designed for you!

Then again there were no opinions asked on what you think of these I just asked if anyone had seen them.

It would probaly be pretty easy to make a set, they really wouldnt even need to be motorized you could have like a manual switch to pull or something, but It would be so much cooler if they were motorized
