Kenwoods car is awesome. Seen it at the trans am nationals this past year. But for most modified I'd have to go with Redraif. The amount of work she has done to that car is unbelievable. All the other cars are in the running also though.

You are ****ing kidding me right?

Custom turbo headers vs. red streak burnout tires and pop rivet body kits... well there really is no comparison.

my vote is for Wood's car

When the new owners took over, they should have redirected this to www.thirdgenricers.com

Because that is all that redraif's car is. A JC whitney ****ing special.

what are you talking about Guido, that's what the auto detailing and appearance forum is for Shiny things and light tubes

I don't consider a highly modified car to be one with a nice paint job, big ol' dubs, rubber band tires, and laying 1/2" off the ground, with a *phat* LO3 powering it.

Kandied has an LS6, he gets my vote. Kenwood barely posts, but from what little I know, his car is pretty slick. But did he do much in '05?

I assume that's what you were answering to?

Most modified thirdgen of 2005
I just thought that meant "most modified IN 2005" not "most modified, and it's 2005", since it's not anymore...

I dont post much because of stuff like this.. 2005 what did I do.. I forget.. But Im sure I did something..

I did NOT build it to be a Show off car... I wanted to have every part I touched look like GM made it that way.. Which is the opposite of what most would define this category to be..

Want an example of what I did the big stuff has been posted already...Ill give examples of unnoticed stuff did. I took a GTA Fog light switch.. Completely disassembled it. Went to work and made a graphic for my intercooler with the same font/design as gm, reassembled the switch with my logo and put it in the stock hole in the dash .. Where others might post a pic of a panel with neons and light up switches, I choose to make it look like GM made 1 water to air IC GTA.. I also managed to take a co2 shifted cheetah SCS shifter and flush it into the stock console.. If I had a dollar for eveyone that came up and asked me what year they CAME WITH THOSE SHIFTERS Id be rich.. 99% of the people looking think its stock... I dont have a lexxan case with the co2 bottle with neons around it.. I have the bottle hidden in a compartment under the console.. you you cant even see it.. Unless you spend 20 minutes taking the console back out of the car..

REDRAIF's car and My car...Completely different I think the 2 small examples above pretty much highlight it.. Im pretty sure her intent in building that car was NOT the same as my intent to build mine.. I typically go to 1 show a year I dont go to win>>I usually go to drink a couple of beers and talk to people who are into cars...I dont build it so people say wow cause of all the bolt ons(IF ITS A BOLT ON I DONT WANT IT ON MY CAR CAUSE THATS TOO EASY ).. I built it so when I run sick times people scratch their head and wonder how a stock appearing car could do what they just saw. Why have a certified 7.50 chassis with full interior and back seats..Its 5 times as hard to make it that way and no real utility..I did it that way just because I can. I enjoy the building more than the car itself.. In fact my plan for this year is to retool the setup and lower the engne 1/2" so I can put a stock hood back on it.. Why because the car looks killer stock.. I like the clean looks..

The argument of LS6 install verusus a completely fabbed system is also kind of mute.. your talking about 2 completely different things.. I could go out tomorrow and buy an LS7 and the aftermarket bolt in pieces to do the install.. BUT its not what im into.. It would be a snoozer 2 weeks later when more and more of the same thing showed up every week..

If you read the post carefully Im not slamming anyone or making my stuff out to be better or worse..I meerly explaind what Im into, and explained that the comparison of these radically different designs is a useless argument.

My Vote is for the camaro with the TEETH cut into the air dam.. Whoever that guy is..

Anybody who would even mention redbarf in a post with kenwood's car might as well give up and cut their throat now, they have no clue.

Wood's **** is about as good as it gets in this hobby. Anybody can make a car go really fast. Anybody can swap any engine into any chassis. Anybody can slap a bunch of tacky bolt ons and junk onto a car and call it modified. Anybody can repaint a car and make it shinky. Etc.

It takes skill and vision to do what he has done.

No wonder i haven't posted here in years. Everyone on this site has completely lost their minds, or left if they had a mind to begin with.

This thread started off with great intent, but went to **** when people started tearing other peoples cars apart. What the hell is wrong here? Vote for who YOU think is most modified, not critisize someones elses pick. Also, Moderators should not rip on others cars, that is complete bull****. If you carry a moderator title, then act like one.

I dont like redraif's car either but isnt it a job of the moderator to keep ppl from arguing to an extent and ppl not bashing other's cars?

Either way I think now would be a good idea to switch to a poll. The same names are coming up over and over.

How about people posting before pics and then a list of what was done and then an after shot? Just going from tada to TADA doesn't really count as "Most Modified".... not sure how my car would not be included when it's been completely redone also.

I don't know how most of these people's before's were but would like to see.

So far I would just vote for Sinister out of the 'guys' that have been listed since I've not seen the others yet.

Again useless activity..

threads like this crack me up.. no doubt.. I could create a scroll of "MODS" that I did.. but why.. In the end it doesnt mean anything because mods can be any thing you change. If I run a key down the side of my car Ive modified it. Taking a dump on my front seat can be defined as a mod.. It modifies the look and smell of the seats..

I think he said.... KEYWORD: MOST TASTEFULL

Posted by Kandied
most tastefully, yet heavily modified thirdgen on thirdgen.org.

IT CAN NOT BE YOUR OWN!

whoever has the nicest modified thirdgen on thirdgen.org voted by the people of thirdgen.org will receive something very nice.

Oh yeah does anyone know how to read?

*****NO PICTURES, IF YOU MUST POST A PICTURE POST A LINK SO THAT THE THREAD IS EASY TO READ!!!****

OK tastefull by whose standards.. ??

and what constitutes a MOD.. I can find 15 ricers who will say AEM decal is a MOD and claim its tastefull.. I disagree.. Its neither a mod nor tastefull..
Ive heard guys list foglights as a mod.. Tastefull I guess it depends.. a REAL mod.. Not to the standard of say a guy who put a widebody kit on his car.. Thats why its a useless activity..

This isn't directed towards you Kenwood just relitive to the thread.

A: He wants us board members to vote by their standards. Who ever has the most votes wins. That simple...

B: You cannot vote for your own car lol. We all think our cars are the best.

C :He would like us to not post pictures so its easy to read.

D:He ask for a vote... He didn't say start bashing other cars on here. It's not about discussing who and why. Its about who do you think by your standards.

I don't mean anything by this... Its just its getting blown way outta control when it is really simple. Thats all. Have a good day!

Oh yeah one last thing if you dont like anyones mods on here or there cars or think there RICE or dont have anything nice to say. Then don't participate and don't ***** up this thread.

it says most modified not the fastest ot most intricate work. I love kenwoods car. But i never see him post except on the local boards, and i've seen like 5 pictures in all of his car on any boards. and 2 of them were what i took. He's got a kickass car and I've actually talked to him about how to go about turbocharging a car.

actually i've reconsidered since they said redraif hasn't been active recently (neither have i, the board is overrun with *******s now) I'm gonna have to go with dennisbernal91Z he's done alot of work.

Agreed, mostly.

Moderators are people too. We have opinions. I don't think anyone went overboard with voicing their opinions, its just not the place

And this is why we don't need an off topic forum.

This thread isn't going anywhere.
