it doesn't matter, fiberglass, metal, cowl, ram air etc etc....i just want to know the best fitting hood...the guy thats painting my car and doing the body work told me to go with a goodmark cuz its steel, and then it'll line up with the fenders great and take very very little fitting...he said usually they make the fiberglass so thick, its hard to get it to line up right, he said if he paints my hood and it takes 2 days to fit my hood right, i'm gonna be into some big bucks, he said i'd be better of just buying one that fits near perfect....

My Cervini took 30 minutes to put on and line up. Gaps were perfect and the hood was awesome. The difference between it and the Goodmark is no ridge down the center of the cowl and the back of the cowl slopes with the windshield. Take a look.

I'm pretty sure Goodmark makes a cowl hood for T/A's and Firebirds although I don't see it on their site. I thought that ASCD also made one. In fact I know they did, but I don't see that on their site either. I have this picture saved from a while ago, but am not sure who makes it.

yes as shown above there are cowl hoods for birds however finding one in steel seems to be impossible. i would have one if i could have found one before i put a flat hood on. i have seen many good fiberglass hoods on maros however the birds never seem to match up to the seems around the lights and bumpers.

My 4 inches glasstek isn't too bad only thing I didn't like is the way it lines up on the front where it doesn't flush with the front bumper just like the car showed above. Klumb15's car is close like mine.
