Im not trying to be negative, the car does look awsome. But KARR had a silver bottom, and an amber colored bar scanner light.

That is true, but for the price of red scanner you could get the amber. With out the amber it looks like KITT. To each his own i guess

Last summer I actually got to meet the guy who owns the car at the Knight Nationals. He was a great guy to talk to and his car looked awesome. There was a two tone KARR there that looked awesome as well. If cardomain is ever up you can see the pics that I took at the Knight Nationals here. http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/295097/19

I can understand someone not wanting to do that to their car, but how can you think that it's not cool.

Knight Rider is awesome, and even if ya don't like it, the work and customizations done to many of those cars is just plain awesome.

I applaude your work, very nice. One observation is, that dash looks good but the way it's shaped, it would definatly be a ball splitter for your front passenger in a head on collision...

Yes I was a fan of Knight Rider when I was a kid. And yes I admit that KITT began my love with the thirdgen Trans Am. But I have also grown up!

I would never do that in a million years. I think it is simply ugly. Especially to go ahead and do the interior, how can you drive with that wheel?? Anyway, it doesnt float my boat, but if it floats yours...more power to ya!

White KITT rocks. ^_^ I've seen pics of that car before. As far as KARR? KARR's scanner was always yellow, however in KARR's first appearance it had a black paint job same as KITT. After KITT knocked KARR off the cliff supposedly the salt water and sand made KARR into the two tone paint job we know now. Stupid reason, but thats official reason given for the KR universe.

I like KARR much more than KITT, something about the Amber scanner.

don't get me wrong, I grew up watching Knight rider and thought it was cool and all. But when I see my favorite pristine Formula get turned into KITT, I get pretty sick - especially given that I like the nose of the Forumla (both of 'em) better than the KITT nose. To each his own I suppose. My apologies if my first post sounded like a flame, but I just REAALLLLLLY like the formula and since there were not too many of them made, they should be preserved. Base 'birds are likley to not hold their value as much and I would think would be a better value if you are going to do that much external modification.

The first episode with car he looked just like kitt, black with the red scanner. The second episode with Karr in it he got his two toned paint job and already had the amber colored scanner.

I remember now that the first time KARR was seen he was all black, but i think he still had the yellow bar.

Also wasn't it a two robbers who found KARR, and a voltage surge that lead under the car started KARR?

At least in KARR's second apperance the scanner IS yellow. I can't clearly remember if his scanner was yellow in the first one, but it probably is because his voicebox has been yellow since the get go.

I'm fairly positive that his scanner and voice box were yellow since his introduction in episode 8 or 9.
