mwnova, your car rocks. You have 275s on the rear, with 7" wide wheels right? That sounds so cool, but all the pictures i've seen you post are less then flattering of the sheer fatness of 275s... they look so thin.... Can you by chance get a picture of your car from the rear? low enough to show if the tires are actually that big?

that is the locker that i broke the first night out with these things on the car! sorry i hadn't replied in a few days. these tires just scream "i'm not letting go of the ground!" my first few passes, i went 1.82 60' with my last best being a 2.02. this is with a HORRIBLE tune too. should 60' in the low 1.7 range.

oh, and they do look skinny do to the little wheel. once i get some 8" wide wheels, they will be a little more spread out and look better.

Very nice! That brings up the rear end a bit. I like it. Do the tires rub much over bumps? Are the 275/60s street radials really bad for cornering? (that was what the second pic was right, 275 radials?) I'm not looking to do any autocross, my car is a daily driver, but I want some nice fat tires on the rear... -J

EDIT: Those giant black marks on that residential road wouldn't be from you eh??

the 275/60 street tires are not bad at all for daily driving. if you can, i would run an 8" wide wheel, but the 7's are working out fine for me. i've never had any problems with rubbing. the car is actually lowered *slightly* in the back. i took the spring isolators out and it lowerec about 1/2". looks good to me!

I went with 15x5's for the front, and 15x8's for the rear. Yes they are MT frontrunners, 26x7.5-15LT. The back are 26x10.5-15LT.

BTW Tuneport335 thanks for the info on the lug nuts. I picked up a set of McCords afterwards. 1 3/8, 12x1.5 shanked lugs.
