Boyds Arrived Today! *Pics*

Here's the specs:

Front: 17X8 4.5BS
Rear: 17X10 5.75BS

I'll get more pics as soon as they get rubber. I really like the dish on the rears... came out exactly as I hoped.

It should look like this when it's done:

looks great! can't wait to see them on the car.....what are the measurements of the actual dish itself from the lip to the rim design? looks rather small for a 10" rim but it could be the light. measure it out if you get a chance, i'd like to know how deep they are front and back.

Yeah... my camera takes crappy pics at night...

The dish on the back is 2.75" deep... that's the most I could go without narrowing the axle and still be able to tuck 285 rubber.

Got any pics of your Boze yet?

It's not very often I comment on, well, anything but, I really like those wheels. A very good choice (as exampled in the PS pic), they appear to be worth the wait.

soon enough...trying to pick out a digital camera is no fun. i think it was easier with the rims and we both know how easy that is.

mine look just like the photoshop picture only with a deeper dish. you have seen that picture right?

so 2" in the front and roughly 3" in the rear huh? that's pretty good. any pictures of the backside....new rims are great aren't they?

make sure you put a good coat of protectant on them. i was told mothers billet aluminum is the best, what did boyd recommend?

This pic shows some perspective...

it makes the 15X7s look useless.

I'm a polishing freak.... so I plan to clean them once a week until I can get my hands on some Zoop seal.

the crazy thing with mine is the 18's actually look like 17s on the car because of the large dish.....makes me wish i had 19's. that is until i drive with them. they actually ride alot nicer then my previous set, i'm sure you'll love yours!

Damn, those are smooth. Im thinking about picking up a different set of rims for some drag radials in the future (probably my C5 Rims) but I would also need a set of cruisers. How much did those set you back ?

Woah, those are really sweet. I think the dish in the back is perfect, nice choice. Can't wait for the actual on car pics. Have you chosen a tire combo yet? If you dont mind me asking, how much did you pay for them and where? I was planning to get ROH ZSs but now...

285 on 10 inch rim

I have boyds as well, and in my opinion everything wider than a 275 tyre looks wrong an the 10 inch rear rim

sold the chrome 91's to new york and a local 4thgen guy bought the z06's.

as far as tire width...i had 295 on a 10.5 and it was a little stretched. i put the exact same profile and tire make in a 285 on my 10" and it fits perfect. 275 would be better on a 9.5, granted all tires are a little different though.

just measured my dish....3" front and almost a full 4" rear.

The wheels were $1500 Canadian shipped... I got a great deal on them. They took about 10 days to ship.

As for tires, I'm ordering them this weekend from the west coast, so they will take at least a week to get here.... then I'll post some pics.
