ok, done plenty of reading on painting tailights, but do you paint the entire tailight with a couple extra coats on the amber section...then a ton 'O' clear, or just the amber section? Also, what's the best wax stripper, got tons of wax on the tailights and I don't want to screw up the tailights.
Thanks, matt
Also, on a side note, can I paint clear on the wheels with some duplicolor, or should I leave something like that to the pros? I don't want the paint to peel in a few months... that would suck!

I painted all of my tails. And yes, you will end up putting more coats over the amber. Just keep applying coats to it untill the entire light is a uniform color. I used the testors model paint on mine. They turned out pretty nice. You can check them out at my car domain. As for the wax, yeah you may wanna strip them down. Just use dishwashing liquid I'd suppose. I hear that stuff breaks down wax pretty good. And I'd leave the wheels to the pros.
