The heritage stripes are cool, but they stop at the front edge of the hood. You should decide for yourself if you want them to go all the way down the face (to the front chin spoiler) and if you want them to go all the way down the back to the bottom of the ground effects. If you do go all the way down, get the top striped too (whether you have T-tops or not). But, keep in mind that if you do white stripes all the way down to the chin spoiler (under the grill), then they will probably get scuffed over time (and may eventually look kind of rough).
As for the color, have you thought about having some kind of fade done (maybe silver at the front edge faded out as it gets to the windshield). Or, a red fade (or a fade in shades of red or burgandy) if your interior is red? If you really want something different, how about ghost flames subtlely painted into the stripes? You might check out some street truck magazines for ideas (e.g. tribal flames painted into your stripes). Also, you should decide if you want pinstripes outlining your stripes or not.

Heres my 87 from a few years ago. Before I got my car repainted
I have a 4" cowl on now, I was going to see about putting the stripes on that hood, but supprise supprise pennslyvania outlawed any cowl over 2" so I might end up putting the old hood on.

25THRSS, I went to get state inspection and they wouldnt even look at it. There was a law just passed that any cowl hood has to be 2" or under and if your cought they'll pull your inspection sticker and possibility tow your car-or so Im told by by the person doing the inspection.
I had to run home, switch hoods, run back to get inspected, then run home and switch hoods again. Its getting really ridiculous in pennsylvania. I dont know how long that laws going to stay because whats not legal now could be legal in 6 months. There using the excuse that "anything over two inches and noone can see out"
grrrr

I have a 4.5 inch, it is hard to see over. I am 6 2 and it is hard to see over. I dont like any laws restricing our cars but I can see where it is coming from. Anyone know if Maryland ahs any laws about hoods?

Back to the main subject,
Of couse this is just my opinion, but I think the only stripes that look right on camaros are the heritage style... Anything else looks like it belongs on a Ford!
