What a waste of a comment. If you dont like it then dont look at it. No need to let everyone else know you dont like it ...

I think alot of those pics were sweet. Awesome stance. SSaudio, they dont make any AirBag kits for our cars like they do for trucks. It will have to be a completely custom job. LowCamaro did his setup himself and I think he did an awesome job. If you search the boards you can find his post where he went over his plan and the parts he used.

It looks good. I helped install and fabricate a bag setup on a 57 chevy pick for a friend of mine. It was fun and a horrible experiance, mainly from the fact that I didnt have all the epquipment I needed at his shop, lol I did lots of traveling from shop to shop. I think he got his bags from goodyear, it all costed 1500.00 for everything : air compressor, air lines, and the bags. Its a real good system for any off road and town applications. Have her slamed in town, raise her up on the highway and dirt roads.

So if people don't like something, we can't say it?

Its a public board, but I don't wanna get into that can of worms again

there is a kit out there for our car. I've spoke with a rep from airRide at a show, and told me exactly how to do it. Even got the brochure, but I lost it. HEHE

You guys say whatever you want. In all honestly, comments like that are a waste of board space. How does that help the person who is looking for info? It all goes back to "If you dont have something nice/constructive so say, then dont say anything at all". I dont know why thats so hard to understand ...

technically there is no "kit" they have the strut bags that will work and the typical lines and tank as well as the valves and other essentials.

very effective way to adjusting the stance as well as a much cleaner alternative to hydraulic setups. however; the frame over time will need some work if you use the setup. your tires will wear uneven because of never having proper adjustment and your drivetrain will see other problems as well.

for a show car go for it if you have the wallet. expect a minimum of 2,000 for anything worth bragging about without labor. you should do it, your car would look great!

I found a kit http://www.airliftcompany.com/easyst...reetCamaro.htm

any comments... I want to do this to my car, it says it handles like it would normally with drop springs and you can lower your car to the ground in a parking lot or for whatever reason like a car show.

Check that thread out.

As for the link you posted, it looks pretty cheap to me. If I were you I'd get more info about what comes with those kits before you spend any money. As far as it handling like a race car (lol thats what it says!), I dunno if I trust that. The rubber that they use to make the air bags is as thick as the rubber in a street tire, so there is no doubt it is strong. But that dosnt mean its going to handle as good as a real spring. For daily driving it should be fine. But for racing its a no-no. Airbags will flex with enough lateral force.

figured i'd update....

now there is a kit. air ride technologies has one and it will be marketed early next year but it can be ordered now. having the setup on my car i can't say enough good about it but all still holds true, i have alot of extra bracing to help the car. you have to watch your air pressure when driving for alignment issues. typically if you pick a said ride height and have an alignment done you will be fine if you stay true to the desired number you set.

prices have also dropped. you can get into the most basic setup for our cars for around $800 but you can spend upwards of $5,000 easy with options and install. if you can change a spring and wire a stereo installation isn't that difficult.
