Should be easy the way the dash is set up, just make sure you don't damage your printed circuit, although its not a big job to repair them either

They look good, but i don't like the fact you can see all that other stuff when they aren't lit up...........

Get off the warm sandy beach over there in Hawaii and get them installed.......

Don't forget the all-important night pics....

Also how was the seller that sold them???......

That looks REALLY good. I usually don't like these kits but that gives you the best of both worlds. White face during the day and glow at night for that cool effect. There is only one problem...the needles are too dark, something has to be done about that before I would consider them.

Not real hard.

I could give you exact instructions..

Just take your time, and dont rush.
Took me about 2 hours total time.

Of course I have ripped my dash apart like 10 time already.

The only reason my needles are so dark is because I completly bypassed the instrament lights.

It is possible to splice into the wire and use the needle lights still. You just have to remove the bulbs that light the numbers.

I might do that, but I kinda like it, just dark....

They look good except for the seatbelt, shift, security, ebrake, SES, and oil level areas. Those ruin the gauges. Are they that dark in person?

The oil pressure guage is just like that. Look at the top pic. Woh know why.

There are lights where hte dark spots are.

The signals look exactly the same.

Once they are in your car, you wont even notice.
Plus they look really good during the day too.
And they are cheaper than Mcewan, which are not indiglo....

I could live without the 2 big illuminated bars at the top (i.e. where the SES light and other junk is) but the gauges themselves look real nice.

That shade of blue is very irritating. Do you know what those guages are made of. . . .because I would like to try making my own with my own colors.

They're called electroluminescant sheets, EL for short. You can buy sheets of it and cut it to shape, but that style doesn't last nearly as long as the stuff that's pre-formed. From what I understand, the thirdgen kits available currently are cut from flat sheets. Macewen's are supposed to be pre-formed, which is why I guess he states that his will last twice as long.

I already bought the gauges from the ebay selller, but i'm sure Macewen would come out with a nice quality set (whenever it happens), then i could just sell the ones i got for some new ones.....

Hey KJ, those guages look awesome! I have a question for you though about your car. My 92RS is the same color as your car. In your sig pic, it looks like you used that vent shade stuff on the parking lights and side markers, I was thinking of doing the same thing. Do you have any front view pics of your car or any closer side view pics so I could see what the parking lights and side marker lights look like with the vent shade stuff.

Thanks, Ted
