I'm willing to bet tht car handles like complete poopy...

Those turbo 6's couldn't hook worth a damn, and with more wieght in the front, and more torque, I'll bet that hooking problem is even worse.

I think he made the wrong choice for an engine swap. He should have gone with a 2jzgte toyota motor. Alot lighter and more potential for street performance.

Finally? Import guys have been doing that for years. They just were not talked about. Ever since the creation of the Internet, more people know about those kind of swaps.

I think a 350 is one the cheapest engines to mod, repair, and maintain on the planet.

I saw quite a few 70's Nissans etc with 350 swaps before the Intra-net got this popular..
I love 'em!

I have seen many Porsche 944s with 350s in them because the turbos failed and were more expensive to repair than to just slap a 350 in. For those it's almost a direct bolt in. I have even seen a 350 put in a 1986 Jaguar XJ6 sedan.

My wife has also seen the light. 89 TPI 350/T56 in her 74 260Z. As for that Supra, the 7MGE was not a turbo, it was an inline 6 that had problems staying cool enough not to crack the head. I know this because I spen 7 yearsa working in an import/small domestic junkyard. In those 7 years only a couple good 7MGE's. It looks like they got the motor back far enough not to upset the handling too bad. I bet it freakin screams.

There's a guy in my home town that has an old "Z" with a 350 motor in it. Pretty sweet. He said he has more room to work in the engine compartment now than with the straight six.

It looks like he did a good job with the car though. I think those older Supras are ugly though.

He is probably going to buy a thirdgen with the money that he gets from this. Sure looks like he Tried hard enough to make this one a thirdgen. Nice hitch there! that will make me want to buy it. Seeing that I'm a RED NECK **** KICKER.

>ha I wouldnt let me bid 1 buck. BAAhhhh.... I think I'm going to email him with some questions.

Here are the questions I sent him. If anyone wants me to add some just post there here.

Hey why is there tow hitch on that car?
How fast is it? looks like it can run seeing that that 350 is pulling that small car.
Are you going to buy a 3gen Firebird or Camaro with the $ you get?

Thanx

It would be funny to smoke a guy in that and have him scratching his head lol unless he noticed the 350 sticker on the back.
