I have my own PPG mixing bank at the shop and a computer filled with color formula's. The Correct 1969 Hugger Orange color is actually more on the red then the yellow side of the orange color scale. I end up painting a lot of cars "hugger" range using a different bright orange formula. People want bright orange but hugger is not its more red.

Hugger Orange in it's original form:
That 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge's color is actually known as Carusel Red, which never made any sense to me cause it is more orange then anything. The reason I know is that I built the model of that exact car and color.

I don't know how to take that, as a compliment or not. It's the $400 kind that are in the back seat of the car when you buy it.
If you really want more info, email me.

Want more pics? Here ya go:
I like to be unique and kind of selfish in a way. I don't want to be so quick to give out information on something that few people know about, such as this commercially made F40 style wing.
Do some easy detective work, the info is out there.....
For my sake, I just found out myself two days ago where it came from. And I owned it for 3 years!
That's all for now,

Bringing back an old thread, Anyone else have more pics of hugger orange camaros?
zupmanZ28, Nice job, your car looks great! I am thinking of painting my 85 Iroc that color, putting all the factory style decals on it and then darkening the wheel inserts a few shades.

Before i fell in love with the styling of my TA my dream car was a 92 Z hugger orange with black heritage stripes. Now i think the heritage stripes are getting a little over done so i would just want the plain hugger orange. Nice ride orangeroc by the way.

I absolutely LOVE that color and Front end. I also like the hood with the balc racing stripes. That is like my dream car and hopefully may Camaro will look like it one of these days.
I have a question abotu that front piece. Has anyone ever attempted to make it cause I think it looks really really good. Does anyone sell them? If so where?
