Re: Flo-Master Short Ram

Looks like it's an Edelbrock (Orville Eldlerbrocker) tunnel ram intake with a fabricated plenum. The logo, fins, etc on the lower all match up. The injector bungs are welded in after the intake was cast.

Like a Stealth Ram before the Stealth Ram was a thing.

Re: Flo-Master Short Ram

Probably some kind of cobbled/fabricated bracket that bolted to that screw er whatever on the plenum.

Re: Flo-Master Short Ram

The seller is high as a kite. That garbage isn't worth $1200 plus shipping. Looks pretty homely and a brand new stealth ram including fuel rails is about half that asking price. The stock throttle body isn't adding much to the value if anything. Some people....

Re: Flo-Master Short Ram

Given the prices for some of the second hand aftermarket TPI stuff, it could potentially sell for the asking price. It'd help if a person took the time to give it a fresh coat of paint. People love odd stuff with fresh paint.

Re: Flo-Master Short Ram

Yeah maybe. Looks like a mess I agree with that. I don't understand the prices of some of the TPI parts that are pretty much known to be of moderate or even insignificant performance gain. Hell my FIRST intake was $1200 painted in my choice of color.

Re: Flo-Master Short Ram

Pry the trophy placard off there and it'd look a lot better.

Re: Flo-Master Short Ram

That's not a Mcfarland. -although it appears to be modeled after one. It may actually work pretty well, but not a player at that price.

Re: Flo-Master Short Ram

These intakes are not really for guys trying to make the most HP cheaply. They are for people looking to keep their car period correct with something that is basically older than the Accel intakes. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...04491681206069
