Is a FIRST system CARB approved?

I am interested in one on ebay but are they CARB approved?

Some say theres a provision for the efr but with it not being in the stock location your hosed.

Yes, they do have a provision for the EGR. Like said above they are not approved but some techs are passing them anyways as they don't know the difference.

Thanks for you guy's input on this. I have to go to a ref on my engine conversion and I am sure they would have a issue with it. I was just checking since I don't know much about this system.

Basically I am try to put a L98 in place of my CFI engine, so one it's first smog I have no choice but to go to a ref. I think any parts they will be looking for a carb number.

They will check it all. Just swap the parts out afterwards

You could always consider moving to a different state.
