I would keep the cross over in the front and the feed line routed around the firewall. I don't care for braided line draped across my accessories and radiator hose.

Re: stealth ram alternative fuel rails?
My polished HSR showed up today. For what paid for it I guess i'm okay with it. It's pretty roughed up and i'm not pleased at all about the two bolts tapped into the passenger side of the plenum. The seller should have disclosed this. Oh well, after I give it a re-polish it should be fine.

I think I know why your polished plenum has those bolts in the side. It may be the same plenum as a matter of fact.

That's a weird oil seperator setup. Never seen that before, but it looks like it was made for the stealth ram, fins matched well.
Makes me winder what happened to my stealth ram, sold it here I think, ported, matched to 1205's.

Re: stealth ram alternative fuel rails?
I'm coming off the stock hard line to rear of the passenger side rail, out of the rear of the drivers side rail to the afpr, then out of the afpr to the stock return hard line. Let me know how that harbor freight tool works for ya. I use an air die grinder for porting but have thought about grabbing one of those to spare my air compressor.

Go slow with that carbide burr. They remove alot of material real quick!

Cool plan man. I do have a bit of experience on burring. I had ported my TPI plenum and Edelbrock Hi Flow manifold base before. TunedPerformanc had seen my progress with the porting up until I sold the plenum, siamesed SLP Runners and Edelbrock base.

Oh. Sorry. I just assumed you hadn't done it before since you were buying new equipment. My mistake. What are you going to use to polish the ports? Flap wheels?

[quote=Chevy86 IROC-Z;5508401]Ok. I got 4 - 1.5" stainless steel bolts. But there is one issue. The bolt holes don't line up perfectly. The machined holes are too close to each other and will not allow the bolts to go in smoothly. Is that a problem for some? Yes.quote]
Just a heads up for anyone thinking of going this route. This will be an issue for you. No big deal though. 5 minutes and it's no longer a problem.

Re: stealth ram alternative fuel rails?
On my other HSR I may use these rails. They look pretty good.

Re: stealth ram alternative fuel rails?
To make the hsr continue on the cheap path I modified a tpi fuel pressure regulator for remote mount or to try on the rail. I am going to ship it out to you tomorrow to see how it mounts to the rail.

Quick update. If your running an 89-92 style throttle body linkage, you will need to bend it slightly to clear the driver side rail.

Mocked up the stock fuel pressure regulator modified for use with a Stealth ram by Tunedperformanc. Keep in mind this is a prototype.

The bracket attached is to allow remote mounting of the fuel pressure regulator.

Great alternative to higher priced regulators, even better if you've already purchased an adjustable regulator for your stock tpi setup.

Re: stealth ram alternative fuel rails?
Is anyone running the Bosch 3's in theirs? I got my HSR all cleaned up and ready to go, ported the holes on the rails, went to slide my Bosch's 3's I picked up from Southbay earlier this year and they are quite a bit too tall. About .070 to be exact. I can get the OEM injectors to fit, just barely, by removing the o-ring and by time I get it all tightened down, the injector will not even move left to right. This is turning out to be a big let down on this thing.
